Finding the right rabbit cage for your rabbit is essential for happiness and a long healthy life. As a general rule, the cage your choose should be at least four times the size of your rabbit. This ensures there is plenty of room for not only your rabbit to leap and bound about... but to have a healthy bathroom area.

It's even not a bad idea to get a multi-level rabbit cage. This will increase the space the rabbit has to move about, while not increasing the size of the cage and the space it will take up in your home. Remember to not use cedar or pine shavings on the floor of your rabbit cage. This applies to all small animals... as the oils that are released are not healthy.
